General description
The big blue whole-house sediment filter cartridge is made of 100% polypropylene filtration media that resists chemicals and the attack of bacteria. This Big Blue Filter enhances purity without affecting color, taste, and odor. The cartridge holds up to three times more dirt than similar pleated, string-wound polypropylene filters. It is produced by advanced gradient melt-blown technology. The material is melted at high temperature, blown out by high-pressure air from the nozzle, into microfibers, and then collected and shaped by a special receiving device.
